Boho Chic Townhouse
Designed by: Marcia Moore
How do you make your home absolutely “you” when you’re renting?
That was the challenge for this single professional woman, after downsizing to a rented townhome. Her eclectic mix of Mid-century modern, Art Deco, Industrial, Boho Chic and Modern Farmhouse transitioned easily, but updates were needed. First, ugly carpet was replaced with luxury vinyl – a worthwhile splurge.
The dining room is dinner-party ready, with an industrial-style table surrounded by a Boho Chic collection of chairs. It’s all illuminated by a new chandelier from Hubbardton Forge.
The living area is anchored by a hand-knotted Bokhara rug. A Hollywood Regency-style sofa in embossed velvet offers elegant seating.
In the family room, new sectionals offer seating for six, and an art deco rug from Asadorian Rug is center stage, thanks to small, multi-function cocktail tables that don’t hide rug’s great design.
In the top-floor master suite, an existing brick wall determined the color scheme. Art Deco chairs and a contemporary dresser personalize the space, while a private balcony beckons.
Three floors of fabulous— perfectly personalized by a discerning eye. Welcome home!
