Our clients’ kids are grown and the decision was made to stay and remodel rather than downsize to a condo. The entire main level was updated with new furniture, paint, wallpaper, lighting, area rugs and accessories, in addition to a total primary bathroom remodel and partial kitchen remodel. Our challenge was to incorporate all the plant life into the design. Biophilic design challenge accepted! The fireplace was faux painted to look like burl wood and the bar was created specifically to display our clients’ painting of a boy holding a rooster. This home was transformed by a curated, yet comfortable design, redolent of tranquil sophistication.
