Winter White is Right All Year Round

Winter white. It’s beautiful, fresh, clean and always elegant. It’s a welcome change from the bolder greens, reds, golds and blues that so often define this time of year. Rooms that do winter white right can be light and airy but they can also be rich and luxurious. So in my attempt to embrace all that is cozy this month, I’ve rounded up some of the prettiest winter white rooms that bring the magic and beauty of fresh fallen snow inside. Ready to take a stroll through this winter white wonderland? Grab a cup of cocoa and let’s go!

DINING ROOMS

These two dining rooms couldn’t be more different but I love them both! Each uses winter white perfectly. The first takes on more of a rustic, down-home vibe, and the second is all-out traditional elegance.

Dining in all white at the Hotel Mandarin in Paris would be dreamy wouldn’t it? And I absolutely love this amazing, unique white chandelier in this neutral room. Winter white perfection.

LIVING ROOMS

Floor-to-ceiling windows that let in a lot of natural light highlight these winter white interiors beautifully. And I absolutely love that sink-in-soft, plush area rug in the second photo!

Big beautiful art for the win! These moody paintings are the perfect finishing touch in both of these rooms. I especially love the painting on the winter white distressed paneling. And don’t you just KNOW that there is a fireplace right across the room, just out of view?

Very interesting frame on that gorgeous window in the first photo. Love the dark inside the white. And the floor-to-ceiling mirror in the second photo reflects all that beautiful white so nicely. Love how they mixed in a little rustic, too, with the antler chandelier and deer heads on the wall.

Okay, so this first photo is just over the top, nothing but winter white bliss! I mean that gleaming travertine floor! And can you even get over that glistening ceiling? To die for! The second photo is also great but in such a different way. Simple, modern and fresh. The fiddle leaf fig keeps it natural but adds a nice pop of color.

BEDROOMS

Everything about the room on the left oozes elegance. And hey, look at those black steel doors? (I did a post on those a few weeks ago. Click here if you missed it). The bedroom on the right is also very elegant but in a more structured way. What can I say, I love them both!

This bedroom is boho chic winter white cozy!

BATHROOMS

Gorgeous marble makes these neutral powder rooms standouts.

Love the black and white subway tiles, black and white hexagonal floor tiles and custom recessed niche in this fabulous shower in the first photo. And what about this gorgeous bathroom in the second photo? The Parisian bath mats are a nice touch, too.

BAR

I so want to sit at this bar and watch the snow fall outside while sipping a Bailey’s. Oh, and a bite or two of cake couldn’t hurt either.

MORE INSPIRATION!

So, if you aren’t completely craving a winter white wonderland of a house yet, here are a few more ways to inject even a small dose of this always perfect look into your home.

Nothing says cozy better than a luxurious blanket, a soft comfy chair and coffee too, please!

Accessories are an easy and quick way to try out a trend. Simple white platters become art when hung on the wall, and these coral sculptures would be an awesome addition to any room.

Wallpaper is in! I’m loving this classic Asian toile with its elegant crane. And here’s just a little more cozy for you in the second photo.

And finally…the stunning home we featured at the top of this post. Just how gorgeous is this home covered in Sherwin-Williams’ Shoji White. Breathtaking.
